What I liked
My elderly father was admitted to Napier Ward in November 2010, and was there for nearly three months. He was always treated with dignity, respect, kindness and with a genuine regard. Although at times the ward was short staffed, everyone who I spoke to did their best to answer any questions I or my father had (which was quite difficult as he is profoundly deaf!)
I would like to express my thanks and those of my father, to all staff on Napier Ward for making what was a very difficult time somewhat easier, and for their persistance in sorting him out!
What could be improved
Investing money in the hospital buildings and maintaining them better, instead of running them down.Hearing impairmentDignity
"good caring staff."
