"A job well done in a calm and friendly..."

What I liked

I was very nervous as this was my first experience of having an operation and the staff in the Admissions Suite were very welcoming and really put me at ease.

The Suite itself was very clean and looked new

I was taken to the Theatre and looked after very well in a calming manner

I awoke from my operation and i was not in any pain at after being taken to Ward 10 i was monitored for the next 24 hours

The staff on the ward were really lovley and made me feel totally at ease

What could be improved

Absolutely nothing as far as i am concerned

I had weeks of sleepless nights on finding i needed to have a operation

My first operation at the age of 57 was to have my gallbladder removed.

I was very anxious but the staff at Hartlepool hospital were wonderful,they made my stay an experience i will never forget for all the right reasons

I cannott praise the staff enough from the admission suite tthrou to the nurses in the theatre suite and then onto the staff on Ward 10

Not forgetting the doctors and the surgeon who performed my operation

I am so relieved it is all over but i truly believe i could not have been in better hands
