What I liked
A&E staff were very attentive and I was seen quickly and efficiently. Diagnosis of a fracture on leg decided upon by 2 doctors and 2 nurses and I was sent home in a cast with an appointment for the following morning within 2 hours of arriving at the unit. The staff were without exception polite, helpful and kind.
What could be improved
The appointment the following day was completely different. The Dr at the fracture clinic had an abrasive manner and whisked me through. He did not actually feel my leg at all, took a look at the x-ray taken the previous day and told me that there was nothing wrong with my leg, that the line on the xray was 'normal' but to rest it for a few days. I left feeling like a fraud, fobbed off and upset. Meanwhile, I still can't put weight on my leg and am at a loss of what to do. The Dr was nothing short rude let alone unhelpful.AppointmentsFracturesAttentiveDiagnosisOpening hoursRudeX-rayX-rayDoctorsNursing staff
