"A very reassuring visit all made..."

About: University Hospital Of North Durham

What I liked

The care that my 3 year old daughter received was fantastic and prompt. We arrived at Accident and Emergency at approx 4.15pm with expectations of having a lengthy wait to be seen. My daughter was seen by the receptionist, triage nurse, Xray dept, nurse again and then a plaster cast fitted all within 1hour 30mins. We were reassured by staff that we had made the correct decision to have our daughter "checked out" by professionals following her fall down the stairs. It was confirmed that our daughter had fractured her wrist.

What could be improved

Nothing......the service we received was excellent.

Anything else?

Many thanks to all of the Staff on duty on the 20th Jan 2011 who dealt with my daughter's injury. All staff were approachable, friendly and very professional.TriageAccidentsFracturesApproachablePatient careReassuringServiceAccident and emergencyX-rayReception staff
