What I liked
My father has glaucoma related blindness and has been under the care of the local NHS since he moved tyo Yorkshire nearly 20 years ago.
Glaucoma is inheritable I was regularly checked over also, since I moved here about 7 years ago. There are good hospitals and bad hospitals.
There are big hospitals and small hospitals. Malton Hospital is a prince amongst small hospitals: excellent doesn't do justice to the treatment (the attention to detail, personal and quick service) that my father and I have been given.
Moreover, it is, relatively, local Governments should cherish hospitals like this, not close them down, as they never wil be cost effective.
What could be improved
Car parking is cramped.
However, compared to Scarborough and York, it is available, and free.GlaucomaVisual impairment and blindnessAttentivePatient careServiceCar Park
