What I liked
The staff where 5 star. nothing was to much bother and they always had time and usually had time to talk to you about anything from football to your operation.
What could be improved
There would be nothing that would improve my care that needs to be improved. the only thing that would help would be if there was more communication if you are having a operation in the afternoon not getting you in at 7.15
Anything else?
I visited the day surgery unit for a overnight stay for a septo/rhinoplasty, I found that the department although ageing was very clean and a all round high standard, I was seen quickly then told to change and wait in a very nice waiting room. Although i was there for a very long time I found that the staff where friendly and helpful, once i got back from the operation I found that the all staff made my stay very nice. Nothing was to much trouble, they made sure that my vital signs where ok throughout the night and in the morning they changed my sheets as I had bled through the night, the staff made sure that everything was ok and that i would be able to be discharged that day.
Overall the experience was very good and yes i could be picky and say ohh u need magazines in the male waiting area or that I sometimes staff have to go somewhere all of a sudden. But that's not an important thing in my care, and thats what we are rating and i can do nothing but commend the staff on the ward for there work and that there hard hard work should be more appreciated by people on this pageCleanlinessPatient careBedsReading MaterialsSignsWaiting AreasWardDay SurgeryCommunication
