What I liked
Medical care, friendliness of all staff, food.
What could be improved
I would like to go on record as saying how well I was looked after during my stay in Macclesfield Hospital. I was admiited as an emergency, having fractured my hip whilst visiting my father-in-law in Buxton. The care I received from the outset was first class. The medical care was superb, but what really made the whole experience so positive was the friendliness of all the staff. Doctors, nurses, porters, physios, house-keeping and catering staff all could not have been more caring. I felt very well looked after, could ask questions about my care, and receive answers and you were able to have a bit of a chat to the staff even though they were very busy. Having had to stay at various different hospitals in the recent past, the attiitude of the staff towards their patients was head and shoulders above anything I have encountered before. I would like to express my grateful thanks to all the staff in Ward 6, and just hope that , if I ever need to go into hospital again, I get ill in Buxton , so I am admiited to Macclesfield Hospital.FracturesEmergencyFoodFriendlinessPatient careWardDoctorsNursing staffPorters
