"Appalling - do not go here if you have..."

About: Queen Elizabeth I I Hospital (Welwyn Garden City)

What I liked

Initial consulting nurse was very good

What could be improved

Doctor was arrogant - I had clearly broken my ankle, but she insisted it was only a sprain and to start walking on it in a week - I couldn't walk on it for a month, it made horrible cracking sounds and it took 3 months before it was 'normal' again - by 'normal', I mean disfigured but functional! She would not even send me for an xray.

Anything else?

Patients should be consulted on what they think is wrong and how they would like to be treated - understandably the staff do not have to oblige, but I would have liked an xray just to prove it was broken when she insisted it was nothingArrogantX-rayDoctors
