What I liked
Overall the Maternity Service is outstanding but i would like to make ladies aware that if they are on the maternity wards they can feel abandoned and isolated. You have to ask for help and kick up a fuss.
The Staff on the Delivery suite were brilliant, caring and compassionate. However once moving to MATY B then it felt like just a number. not listened to and forgotten about.
What could be improved
The way in which staff speak to you on the ward.
The frequency on which the bins being emptied.
The frequency in which staff check on you and your baby, even if the baby is quiet.
Anything else?
If in doubt shout, do not let things worry you. the staff will help you in their own time, which maybe a while.
