The triage nurse in A+E was so rude. I went with a family member on boxing day. They announced that if people had colds/minor injuries they should go elsewhere. I asked one question to try and establish if we should do that - the nearest minor injury clinic more than 10 miles away on public transport, and my partner had what turned out to be a broken ankle.

So, in trying to do exactly what was asked of us and go elsewhere if possible as A+E was so busy (5 hour wait), the response was so rude and scathing I wished I had taken a bus 10 miles further. So many medical staff seem to be so uncaring. Yes their environment is stressful, are they not trained to show a little kindness to the public? It would probably save alot of hassle in the long run.
