What I liked
I was taken to A&E, by ambulance, after having a seizure in the middle of the night. I don't remember much TBH, but from what my OH says, I was thoroughly examined then treated for possible causes.
In the end, I had this serious flu bug that has hospitalised a lot of people in this country.
I have no complaints about my treatment, the Nursing staff work tirelessly and were friendly. If I would have had an appitite, the food looked delicious. All in all, a traumatic experience but made bearable by the care I received. I have had previous 2nd hand experience of this hospital, when my mum had 2 hip replacements. She says the same as me.
What could be improved
The only negative thing perhaps was the fact that it was over the Christmas weekend and due to Monday & Tuesday being a Bank Holiday I didn't see a Doctor on a round until the Wednesday. This may have delayed my going home.ComplaintsHip replacementFoodPatient careAmbulanceDoctorsNursing staff
"I was treated with dignity and respect."
