About: Royal Shrewsbury Hospital

What I liked

The Doctor in A&E was very reassuring and treated my son in a manner appropriate to his age. the Department was very busy (lots of falls on the ice) but the staff were very sympathetic.

What could be improved

The nurse could have smiled - but overall very good

Anything else?

Was very impressed - and with the fracture clinic which we have also attendedFalls trips and slipsFracturesReassuringDoctors

Thank you so much for taking the time to provide comments about your care in the A&E and Fracture Clinic at RSH.

We aim to provide the highest standards of care every time for every patient, and we are pleased to hear that your experience of your son's care matched our aspirations. We will pass a copy of your feedback to staff in the relevant departments, including your comment about smiling.

If you think that any particular member of staff - or the whole team - deserves special praise and recognition then please consider nominating them for the Chairman's Award. This special award is presented every two months at the Trust Board meeting. It celebrates members of staff who go above and beyond what is expected of them to provide high standards of care for patients, or improve the working lives of their colleagues. More information is available from our website at http://www.sath.nhs.uk/about/chairmansaward.asp

Please note that the NHS Choices website does not share your contact details with the Trust so we are not able to contact you direct.

Thanks again for your feedback.
