"Haematology - the nurses are really kind"

About: Royal Manchester Children's Hospital

(as the patient),

I am a 7 year old boy.

I like this hospital. It's got more toys, but it would be nice to have the play leader. Some Duplo would be nice to play with.

The nurses here are very kind and they always remember me!

Everything with outpatients and the appointments are fine.

We're really please that you find the nurses kind and that you are happy with the outpatient care you get.

I will be taking your comments about getting some Duplo and the play leader to the haematology and oncology department and will respond when I have more feedback from them.

The haematology team have discussed this issue at their operational meeting. There are some problems at the moment with staff sickness which has resulted in the loss of a play worker. Hopefully this will be resolved soon and they will sort out the entertainment issues.
