(as the patient),

I am a 15 year old boy.

It would be great if there was more entertainment for older children as there isn't much for us to do.

All the care in the hospital and outpatients is good. I'm happy with the care overall, even though we do sometimes wait quite a long time for our outpatient appointments.

We're delighted that you are happy with your care overall, and we do our best to make sure that your waiting time is as short as possible.

I will be taking your comments about entertainment for older children to the haematology and oncology department and I will post back when I have more information for you.

The haematology team have discussed this issue at their operational meeting. There are some problems at the moment with staff sickness which has resulted in the loss of a play worker. Hopefully this will be resolved soon and they will sort out the entertainment issues.
