"Would not go to Harlow Hospital if..."

About: Princess Alexandra Hospital (Harlow)

What I liked

would have been that I was given a Xray within the 4 hours in Harlow Hosp, than having 4 different nurse deciding if my leg was broken or not making me walk up & down in pain & pulling it around, also not even giving me some support when having to walk backwards & forwards to different rooms. I was then sent home with no painrelief spending all night in more pain. I then had to go back to another minor hospital the next day as my foot had swollen up & gone blue to be given Xray straight away to be told my leg was broken & also had legament damage to be sent back to Harlow to spend a further 5 hours waiting around for what reason as the other hospital had done the xrays for them, to then be told i would probably need an operation.

I was told I would receive some painkillers but never did, even after asking many times.

I was sent home still no painrelief, leaving my phone number being told that I will get a phone call the next day if they decide to operate. which I never received!.....

What could be improved

Being given an XRAY at the start, as this was have been straight forward & the problem could have been dealt with within a few hours than spending 15 hours all together on NHS money.....

Anything else?

The new changes in Harlow hospital are not working, people are spending more time hanging around for many hours, then being seen by members of staff.

This is not the first time i have had problem at Harlow my nan was sent home with a fractured back also without being given an xray, for another hospital giving her an xray to be told this.
