I find some of the receptionists to be quite abrupt sometimes. One in particular comes across sarcastic and talks over me a lot when I'm on the phone to them. Other receptionists on the other hand are brilliant and very friendly. I have only ever seen one doctor and they've given good diagnoses but doesn't come across as very friendly. Whether this is just down to their personality or not, I don't know. My partner has seen another doctor and said they didn't feel like they cared at all about his issue and felt pushed aside.

I have never had to wait very long for my appointments, though if I don't consider it an emergency I don't mind waiting a week or so. I've never been waiting longer than 5 or 6 minutes past my original appointment time either, which in my experience with previous surgeries is great. The decoration could do with an upgrade however, as it does feel quite dull which doesn't help the atmosphere.

Dear Patient,

Thank you for your feedback on our surgery. We welcome both positive and negative feedback so we can learn from things we are not doing so well.

I am sorry to hear you have had a few issues with one of the members of my reception team, I am happy to arrange a meeting with you, if you wish, to discuss your issues so we can try to resolve them amicably.

The surgery is going through a number of changes at the moment so unfortunately we have had to use a number of locum GP's but going forward we are now in the process of taking on new regular GP's so things should start to improve from a patient continuity perspective.

I am also pleased to confirm we agree with you re the décor at the surgery and we are currently in the process of updating the décor, this should all be completed within the next couple of months.
