"KTC staff made me feel that I was..."

What I liked

I was very impressed with the co ordination and organisation of the day. Everyone expects to have to wait a certain amount of time after arriving. This delay was minimal and from then on I was taken through the process with comfort and ease. I felt totally comfortable 'putting myself' in the hands of the nursing staff, as they were confident and professional throughout.

Although the department seemed very busy that afternoon, everyone seemed to know exactly what they were doing and displayed great 'teamwork'.

What could be improved

During my experience of the day - I really can't think of any improvements. Apart from a very trivial matter of the reading material ( ie magazines ) available. Although having said that I was advised in a letter to bring a book to read. But I have no suggestions to make as regards improvement.

Anything else?

I was kept fully informed on my condition and procedure at all times with literature handed to me before during and after, keeping me fully informed throughout with information for family and carers to reassure them too. Excellent.
