"Pleasant doctors, rude nurse."

About: Royal Free Hospital

What I liked

I brought my child into A&E, as my child was very unwell. The nurse that saw us was somewhat rude to both me and my child. It was as if they didnt want to be there. There were times when I was explaining to the nurse what was wrong with my child, they were interrupting me and being very condescending, telling me that my child very well, but my child was not at all well. I was very concerned about my child and the nurse wanted me to bring my very unwell child home and deal with it myself. That nurse was very rude and looked down on us throughout our stay in A&E. It felt as if as that nurse just wanted to push us out of A&E. Both me and my child were not treated with any respect at all by this nurse and I am very upset that this nurse is allowed to work in this hospital. The doctors were absolutaley brilliant, and saw that my child was very unwell, and was very polite and considerate. The doctors kept me informed on what was going on. That nurse was so rude that I overheard this nurse say to a colleague that I was a cow. I think that is very unprofressional and bang out of order.

What could be improved

The nurses attitude for starters. This nurse was very unprofessional and very rude. They made me very upset and did not treat me or my child with any respect. They should be be spoken to and go on a course for attitude and disrespectfulness.
