What I liked
i have been disgusted by my treatment by the staff.i had an appointment to see my consultant after my MRI scan and i was unable to make the date but i was keen to find out the results of my scan so i spoke to the vale who said i could try and contact the hospital as the consultant works there as well. i was faced with rude staff who didn't listen to my request to go on a cancellation list as i said i would come at short notice and the receptionist said they would call me back but i had to chase up the next day to be told a note was put on the consultants desk! i then spoke to the appointments clerk who was rude and laughed at my predicament and refused to let me make my request without interupting in every time i spoke.
No wonder why the NHS is spoken about in such a negative way if this is the standard of treatment patients who are desperate and in need of care are treated.
What could be improved
staff could try and listen and act as if they want to help.At the moment it seems like the staff act as if they are unaccountable to anyone or anything. if they worked in the real world and spoke to customers like that they would be hauled before their superiors to explain the way they speak to patients.
my query still hasnt been resolved and i am now left in no mans land as to how i can ever get my results back.shocking service levels
