"Very unhappy"

About: John Radcliffe Hospital

Anything else?

In July of this year I visited my doctor who subsequently arranged for me to book an appointment with the ENT dept. The ENT dept sent an appointment in August for 3rd November 2010. This appointment was subsequently cancelled by the ENT dept. At the time of cancellation no other appointment was offered which I found strange. I phoned the hospital appointment line and they told me they would pass my request for another appointment to the ENT dept.

I did not hear from them so I emailed the appointment desk, still without any response.

I have subsequently phoned again and they said they would email the ENT dept again on my behalf.

I am still waiting :( I find it utterly unbelievable that a dept can get away with not only cancelling appointments without issuing a new one at the time of cancellation but gets away with not replying to any requests.

Or is this how this department meets its targets.

One very angry patient.

Paul T
