"Repeat prescriptions"

Every month since the centre has changed ownership i go through the nightmare of trying to obtain a repeat prescription.

1, You have to now go in and fill a form out and wait 48 hrs for it to arrive at the pharmacy( previously it was just a phonecall and you picked it up - no problem)

2,After 48hrs you visit the pharmacy who will have no record of it being sent or it's not been signed by a doctor and you have to go back to the surgery who either can't find it or tell you that you will have to wait for a doctor to sign it, that's if there is a doctor there to sign it, you then have to come back another day and wait for it to be signed...

3, This happens every month !! initially i let it ride because they said it was due to a new system being implemented by the new bosses but no more excuses. It's only a repeat prescription after all for Christ's sake...

4 My parents, who are in their mid seventies also have to go through this every month as well, meaning my mum is walking backwards and forwards on multiple days just to finally obtain their prescriptions.I normally end up doing it for them myself after i've finished work.

5, I also couldn't get a home visit when i clearly was unable to come in to the surgery and was diagnosed over the phone.Also my wife was prescribed a penicillin based product when she is allergic to penicillin !!! luckily we spotted this before she could take any !!!

6,I dont even know who my actual doctor is as you never see the same one twice . The pharmacy that i use say this is common practice and that they have had multiple problems and complaints .
