What I liked

I was in Derwent ward for a hip resurfacing operation. I was kept fully informed in the time leading up to admission, and whilst in the facility my treatment was excellent - I really cannot point to a single fault. Staff were friendly yet professional and really encouraged me to become independent in preparation for living at home. Please pass on my thanks to all who work there and congratulate them on terrific teamwork. Thanks again.

Whilst in 'Bournemouth' it was great, and I know the team communicated with my GP. Unfortunately it all rather fell flat with the lack of care, difficulty in getting appointments, lack of understanding from my local surgery. e.g. being expected to drive to the surgery for the one-week blood test.
