It was supposed to be the most joyful experience of my life and it was the worst!

I feel the staff treated me as if I was an inconvenience to them and I was scared throughout the whole experience or should I say ordeal!

I even asked my husband at one point if I was going to die because I was left withering in pain whilst my requests for pethadin were ignored and I was told to embrace the pain! ! ! I am still trying to cope with the after effects.

Go to the delivery suite, you will be treated with dignity and respect and the staff listen and care. I can only hope no one has the go through what I did.
