Boomed student. After just having a lecture about viral hsv conjuctivitis i got prescribed antibiotics. Pleading the BRI for some antiviral treatment and calling up the student health centre didn't help, I had to wait-and keep taking useless antibiotics
Now left with a scratch on my eye.
My last conversation with the doctor-me- so it is vital infection?(it was after 2weeks)
-well,treatment didn't work so probably yes-
15 min later-
Doctor- so ,what treatment do you want next? Should I prescribe you more antibiotics?-
And discharged me ... conjuctivitis is recurring most of the time, to discharge a patient right after the eye is not swollen anymore is like pushing a button on a bomb and leave it be. Three days later optometrist saw a scar inside the eye and smiled at the screen when I told a story of my treatment...
Another time.same doctor (make) asked me 3 times if I was pregnant... while I came to see the doctor to complain about painful periods .
My studies and my job suffered, and my vision . Have no idea if I would have had ulcer if it was treated right,Just hope I wouldn't
I would rather have my classmate treat me.
Too bad,im sure that there's a lot of good doctors but how can a practitioner like that be in charge of a practice???
"Had to convince a doctor I had a viral not..."
