"I expected to be treated with more..."

About: Helston Community Hospital

What I liked

nothing

What could be improved

more respect given to me

Anything else?

I visit this hospital every 12 weeks or so to have a supra-pubic catheter changed. In October I came away crying at how I had been treated and the unnecessary pain I had been put through.

I have had the catheter for 3 years and never experienced a change as bad as this before. The Sister changed it and "snatched" it out which made me cry out and then left me undressed TWICE while she took phone calls.

I felt like a slab of meat just lying on the bed

I did think about complaining but know that I have to go back again in 12 weeks so was scared to

I did expect more from a Sister
