I have been with Tower court for 30 years and was really concerned about the merger. My fears were unfounded, the online systems is fantastic meaning you don't have to contact the surgery, when you arrive you check in using a computer which couldn't be easier, leaving the receptionists free to deal with other queries. The flu clinic ran smoother than ever before and the nurse was lovely. I am there regularly and my Gp is fantastic, they are a good listener and I always leaving feeling a little better. I personally find the reception team friendly on the whole. They have a hard job to do and sometimes people don't appreciate how stressful their job is. I have always found them to do their best to help me, if they cant answer your question they will find someone who can. The sad thing is the many of the original staff are no longer there and there are always new faces everytime I go in and I do wonder why they seem to have a big staff turnover. I hope this isn't because of abuse from patients. I have seen many unrealistic requests put to the front desk team while I have been waiting and they bear the brunt of patients dissatisfaction. I would like to say the moving of the phones away from the reception area is a great idea, prior to that conversations were clearly heard by waiting patients. Now it is much more private. So overall I am very satisfied with my treatment by all at the surgery including the reception team . Keep up the good work.
"Good service."
