What I liked

The consultant provided me with all the relevent information and support to make my decision as to whether to have a hip replacement operation. On my decision to go ahead they enabled me to be operated on in a very short timescale thus enabling my inability to work being drastically reduced to a few weeks instead of months( a real concern in these days of threatened redundancies,

This was my first experience of hospital and I found my treatment by the consultant and every other health proffessional to be superb.

I am recovering at a very rapid pace, I have had no need of any painkillers and my scar is painless and very neat.

My quality of life has already dramatically improved( after 4 weeks) and I cannot express my thanks in particular to the consultant but also to everyone else who treated me so kindly.

What could be improved

I have had no follow up re physio, but to be honest this has not really been a problem for me
