"The most unhelpful GP surgery ever used!"

About: Beechwood Surgery

There are many things wrong with this surgery:

- they lost my partners medication for severe haemophilia type B and lost his sharps bin. They lost it but said he could pay for another one they had in stock.

- I miscarried at 6 weeks. The GP was completely disinterested and td me to just go home and wait for it. Turned out I needed an MVA.

- since my miscarriage I've had no support. I went back when I developed a urging infection and was basically told I was wasting their time.

- you will wait on average 2-3 weeks for an appointment.

- you will wait on average 5 minutes before anyone answers the phone

- the receptionist are incredibly rude and there is no protection of patient confidentiality because they ask you what you are there for and why you need an appointment. I've had to tell them about 10 times I had a miscarriage and have had complications whilst people have been waiting in line within hearing distance behind me. And also challenged on why that means I need an appointment.

- the attitude of some GPs at that practice is shockingly bad, rude, unsympathetic and not knowledgable. They will never investigate anything further.
