"Excellent Surgery"

We registered at the Surgery 10 years ago and although it has undoubtedly become busier every year since,

I have to say we have always received excellent treatment and advice whenever we have needed it.

The staff - medical, nursing and secretarial are always helpful.

The Receptionists who have a really challenging job are always polite and helpful.

They are often on the receiving end of people's frustrations and upset and it must be acknowledged how difficult it is for them to deal with this every day.

So well done and thank you to you all.

Since our Son arrived 2 years ago, I have always been amazed how flexible the GP's have been in getting him seen at short notice, even on the day if required.

Additionally, many surgery's don't offer the telephone triage system whereby a Dr rings you back and again, I have always felt reassured and well looked after when I have had to use this service.

So, in these times of austerity, increased workload and excessive demand within the NHS, it is important to recognise when a service is good.

Understandably, with consideration of the aforementioned challenges, no system or service can be perfect and expectations of service users should realistically reflect this.

But we feel lucky to have such a great GP Surgery to rely on.
