What I liked

Both of my children were born at the Andover Birth centre and i received the best care possible.Andover Birth Centre should stay open as there is a genuine need for this service in the andover area. My 2nd child was born very quickly and i would not have made it to another hospital 20-30 minutes away. This is the case for many mothers i know. Also we are told all through our pregnancy we have a choice as to how we wish to have our baby - that choice has been taken away with the closure of the birth centre.Instead of a safe calm environment to bring my next baby into the world i am forced to attend a busy understaffed hospital 20 miles away instead of having a relaxed birth away from the hospital environment.

I think its a disgrace that this unit has been closed.

The andover birth centre needs to be re-opened to births immediately.
