About: Stafford Hospital

What I liked

Due to the woeful inaccessibilty of out of hours GP services in my area I had cause to visit Accident and Emergency in the early hours of one Saturday morning. The staff with whom I had contact (A&E receptionist, doctor and nurse/sister - sorry, not familiar with your uniforms!) were all friendly, polite and efficient, despite being at the back end of a busy Saturday night shift.

I was treated with respect throughout my visit, and was assessed, diagnosed and on my way out of the department, medication in hand, in less time than I was initially told I'd be waiting to be seen.

What could be improved

Those seats in the A&E waiting room are a bit on the hard side!
