I joined Fern House Surgery over a year ago and have had one appointment, which was for my 'medical check up' just after registering.
My appointment literally lasted 2 minutes. I walked in and the doctor said "I see you are on medication for anxiety and depression" and I said "yes". The doctor then said "Have you considered CBT therapy?" and I said "I had it a few years ago." The doctor literally said ok and said to review again in a year.
That was it.
A year later, I need an appointment for knee pain. I have phoned the surgery literally 40 times today and it just rings and rings. I finally got through this afternoon to be told that basically I can have an appointment on the 19th June (no thanks) or to phone up after I finish work at 5pm to "see what the situation with the Doctors is"
I bet they won't answer the phone.
I'm sure that the Doctors at this surgery at adequate, but the appointment availability is not. What's the point of being with a surgery where you can't get an appointment?
"Would not recommend this surgery"
