I am writing to let you know that the medical care and support my wife has received from her consultant at Heartlands Hospital has been of the highest order. During her stay at Heartlands at the end of August my wife was in Ward 4. This is an extremely busy ward, serviced and cared for by a mixed team of professionals. After her surgery, my wife received excellent after care on the ward. Frankly to single out particular individuals is not strictly fair to the others. That said, the senior sister took on special responsibility for looking after my wife for the five days or so she was on the ward and she did so much to make the experience a very positive one.

My wife is due to make a return visit to Heartlands shortly. Had her earlier experience been anything other than extremely positive the prospect of a return would be daunting to say the least. As it is my wife is only too aware that she is in very good hands and is almost looking forward to her next stay!

We count ourselves very fortunate that the consultant and the team at Heartlands were recommended to us.
