"This has given me the strength to move on"

About: Ashley House / Substance Misuse Service Halton General Hospital / Access & Advice Team - Halton

(as the patient),

I was referred to Ashley House by the Brooker Centre in Runcorn. I was able to just turn up and be seen, this was really useful for me.

When I saw my worker, they gave me loads of information about the process of seeing the doctors and getting my vaccinations and blood tests done.

I was a bit of a mess when I first came, but now I feel really positive about what is happening.

I can see a way out, and this has given me the strength to move on.

There is light at the end of the tunnel.

Thank you for your feedback and letting us know that we saw you so promptly.

It is also reassuring that the Brooker Centre were aware of how to refer you to Ashley House as we continue to promote our services and try to ensure that any teams or individuals in Halton know how to access us.It's good to know you are also getting help with vaccinations and blood tests as we have also been focusing on health improvement which includes interventions around Blood Borne Viruses.

I hope we can continue to support you with the major life changes you are making.
