What I liked

I attended the MIU with my son early on a Saturday morning. The receptionist was great - friendly, efficient and welcoming. We were seen very quickly, and reassured that in this case the problem was a bad sprain only and advised on how best to care for it ourselves. In and out again within 20 minutes. Thank-you.

What could be improved

The hospital does look a little tired. There is some building work underway, but the waiting area could be freshened-up and made a little more welcoming.

Also, it would be good to have advice on how other sources of information and advice, such as NHS Choices, could be found.

Anything else?

It was also good to see that when another patient arrived after us, in some discomfort and bleeding due to a fall, that they were immediately helped and not left to wait or stand around in reception.
