What I liked

Sorry to say the whole appointment was such a shambles that I could not comment positively in any fashion.

What could be improved

Ensured that junior/trainee staff that have been given the reponsibilty to assess your problems have better supervision and a longer period of supervised assessments. it would also help if the assessing staff were not interrupted at such a high rate and be allowed to concentrate on the patient.

Anything else?

The appointement with the optthalmololgy department was ridiculous. The assessing staff was niave in his knowledge and approach. The appointment was constantly interrupted by other staff. there is no standardisation of equipment locality, no fore-thought as to the privacy of what may be required during the assessing period and limited privacy and focus on the patient. the paitent came out feeling worse than prior to the appointment.
