What I liked
The nursing staff were great, i was very worried but they provided a lot of reassurance, they were all rushed off their feet, but took time to comfort me.
What could be improved
Communication. The hospital says it wants to hear our comments and I did this through their PALS department, which again I must say were very good. But I wanted to get more involved and share what I experienced whilst in hospital and it was suggested that I contact the Head of Patient Experience. I did this a number of times and not once did they take the time to return my call, very disappointing.
This was a big let down, and showed me that they really don't want to listen. I would recommend the hospital because of the very professional care I received, but there are some aspects such as cleanliness and poor communication from management that let the hospital down.
