"I was recalled to the breast care unit..."

What I liked

I was recalled to the breast care unit for further tests following an initial screening at Westmorland General and was consequently worried and nervous. I was treated with care and understanding by all the staff, right down to advice on the phone about arriving early in order to get a space in the carpark. The appointment was only 3 weeks after the initial screening and I was given the results before I went home, as promised. The radiographer and radiologist both took the trouble to explain the extra tests and why I had been recalled.

What could be improved

I probably don't need to say that the carpark is inadequate!

Anything else?

My previous experience of breast screening was at the Liverpool Womans Hospital. I had not expected the RLI to be as good, but it was. Thank you.
