In May this year I had a bad fall and broke my arm. Whilst I was still being treated at Northern General my GP advised me to enquire about a bone density scan, Due to this I found my bones are thin and at risk of breaking if I fall, I am now on medication for five years, It is thanks to my GP that this was found and I am extremely grateful.
