What I liked
I arrived into Hull A&E in an ambulance on a sunday afternoon, the ambulance staff were very friendly, attentative and explained everything they were going to do. Then i arrived at the A&E...
What could be improved
Staff were very slow and rude. I was left in agony on my own for nearly two hours with no explanations. My partner who could have been with me was not told this and treatment was inadequate. I arrived with a suspected broken coccyx, after several hours i was given some pain killers and told to get up on my own and walk myself to the car. I explained i could not walk unassisted and was half way to fainting, to which the nurse who had appeared just shrugged and told us to hurry up as my partner had had to move his car so i could get into it.
Anything else?
No explaination about recovery time, no helpful advice, no assistance, left on my own in pain for hours and still no idea as to how long it takes to heal. Stuck in bed, allegric to painkillers pescribed and abandoned by NHS, told to take "paracetamol". Total joke.
