What I liked
For the most part the staff are hard working, friendly and helpful. The problem I have is with the communications systems for relatives and friends. Last year I tried to find out about a friend who had been admitted as an emergency. It took so long to get through. As the first point of contact for anxious relatives and friends, the information system needed to be more efficient and effective. I raised this with the hospital and was assured this would be improved. Today I have tried to ascertain where a relative is and how she is as she was admitted as an emergency, only to be cut off after four and a half minutes of being bounced around the hospital. This happened last time. No change there then!
What could be improved
No point in saying, nothing seems to change.
"For the most part the staff are hard..."
