"Ineffective and inconsistency with basic practice"

About: Dr O S Singh & Partner

For a practice patient who rarely has reason to visit the surgery, I find it extremely difficult to access my gp surgery by phone and appointments is mostly not very useful. For example being given a week or more's appointment for someone very unwell, leading to a decision to visit the A&E department who appear more proactive, get you treated but unfortunately worked.

In addition, inconsistency. E.g I visited my surgery to request a prescription and I was told to write down the medication on an ordinary piece of paper and eventually got it prescribed by the doctor. This time around I walk in and get told you need to be seen by a doctor even though I have had the medication prescribed by an A &E doctor. Without exaggerating, I have had to wait to see a doctor for over 40 minutes for a ten minute appointment. A&E appears to have more regards for my health than my gp surgery.
