I am a 30 year ols man and have been dealing with M.E. for 6 years now. I have come home from my appointment today and currently undergoing a string of emotions, from angry, to frustrated to upset. I feel like the doctors don't have the care or time for me and keep being passed from pillar to post. The doctor constantly spoke over me, and was generally rude. I have been in a lot of pain, in my back, arms, and legs mainly, it doesn't seem to get any better and i wondered if it could be neural. My previous doc. appointment, when i asked this, they proceeded to refer me to the mental health team. When i arrived at my appointment, an hrs journey away, it turns out that i do not have mental issues and the mental health team were quite unsure as to why i was there. They then requsted i have an MRI scan. To this, my gp has just stated that they do not do MRI scans on backs, or brains. I have now been referred to a physio. I asked the gp if this will help my arms and legs, they stated that i had only been speaking about my back and that will be all for now. I am so disheartened by my experience up to now. Please, if you can, find another surgery.
"Awful."
