(Posted by Healthwatch Liverpool on behalf of the patient) I had a hysterectomy at the Liverpool Women's Hospital about 4 weeks ago, in September. I started bleeding a few days ago so called the number that they gave me at the Women's, and was told that it had been too long since the operation and that I should go to see my GP. I went to see my GP just now, and they told me I had to go back to the Women's as the GP was worried they might accidentally damage something if they had a look. I feel like I've been fobbed off by the Women's, and will contact their PALS team.
