"William Harvey Ward"

About: Basildon University Hospital / Accident and emergency

Mum was taken into a&e a couple of weeks ago, from her dementia Home, where she was being terribly neglected, she first got moved into amu West, where she was treated for a couple of days, they were fantastic to mum, then she was moved upstairs into William Harvey Ward, she’s still here at the moment, we are looking for a new home now, I just wanted to say how lovely mum has been treated, every single person dealing with mum is fantastic we are so happy with the care she has received, it’s been a very emotional time, but I’ve had peace in knowing how looked after she is, mums improved so much, she’s in more of a routine now, and it’s all thanks to everyone in the ward, thank you so much

We are always pleased when relatives take the time to write with their appreciation of the care and treatment their loved ones have received at Basildon Hospital.

We were delighted that your mum's experience was a positive one during her stay on AMU West and William Harvey Ward.

Your comments were forwarded to the senior team at the time you posted them to ensure staff on the wards were made aware of your kind words.

May we take this opportunity to thank you for your comments and send you and your Mum our very best wishes.
