"Monthly prescription"

About: General practices in Lanarkshire

(as the patient),

Had an appointment with my GP today and when I  was in I asked the GP to give me my monthly pills as they are due to run out at the end of the week but was told they where not giving me any as I just got them 2 to 3 weeks ago.   I did ask to get them few days earlier so I could  give the pharmacy time to make my pills up as I get them weekly from the pharmacy so  the pharmacy would not give them to me early even if I wanted them.

The second reason I asked for them few days earlier is at the moment  I been ask not to drive so it would have made it easy for me doing 2 jobs as the same time I also got the pharmacy to call my GP to tell them that I was not trying to get more pills than I should have.  The pharmacy told my GP I had them earlier  before so the pharmacy  was agreeing with myself that My GP also tried to tell me I did not get all my pills at the same time which the pharmacy told my GP I have always had them at the same time.

I just don"t understand why there (GP) are been very unhelpful this time
