I was invited to undergo a colonoscopy some three week previously, and to say that I was a bit apprehensive regarding the procedure, would be a blatant lie, more like terrified.
Arriving at Gateway H, I was greeted by a charming person who was the epitome of efficiency. They asked my wife and I, to take a seat, and said, a nurse from the ward would collect me in a few minutes . My personal details were duly check and within a few minutes, I was ushered to the auditorium and my place of repose.
I was presented with more suitable attire for the performance, and with some help to privatise my posterior, I was on my way to the theatre. The theatre was not quite what I was expecting, there were less seats and no programs, nor ice-cream or popcorn on sale. Disregarding the refreshment situation, the Theatre was well fitted with everything that you would expect on a potential trip to eternity. Once these guy's had got you, you ain't going nowhere, especially to eternity. The script was beautifully enacted, the dialogue was perfectly delivered, and held my attention from start to finish. I would like to thank all of cast for such an interesting performance, and look forward to the next episode. Guest's, this theatre, is top in it's class and the care and attention you will receive on your journey, cannot be bettered. God Bless the NHS and all who sail in her, long may she continue and her crew be rewarded in the knowledge that the scripts
they enact, are perfectly delivered with the care and dedication of true Thespians.
"A sunny day in October."
