What I liked
I am a 39 year old male who has insulin dependent (type 1) diabetes. I've had a couple of bad "hypos" recently (one at 3:30am today and another about 6 weeks ago) which required me to be taken by ambulance to hospital. I was taken to Accident and Emergency at St Thomas' at Waterloo.
In a word, my experience of their service was absolutely EXCELLENT. They provided excellent care, they were very professional yet friendly, they communicated with me and talked me through exactly what they were testing and why, they made sure that I was comfortable and helped to minimise by discomfort and distress.
I would like to say an incredibly big "Thank you". I hope this message makes it to the A & E staff at St Thomas'.
Kindest regards
Lee Jones
