Once you get to see a GP or Nurse, the care and treatment are very good and you are treated with respect. However, the website is not up to date: the current set of GPs is not listed and neither are the opening hours accurate. You cannot book an appointment on line and you cannot get through on the telephone in the early morning. It is impossible to see a GP when you want to and pre-bookable appointments do not exist. The best you can hope for is to have a telephone appointment but sometimes you have to wait for days to get one. The desk staff are often rude and dismissive and it feels like they are being obstructive. When asked to explain the appointment system, they are not able to and once, were very rude and put the phone down abruptly. I feel really sorry for old and vulnerable patients who are turned away at the desk without any sympathy. This has been witnessed time and time again. The desk staff just say there is nothing! This is a sad reflection on the medical and nursing staff because they work very hard.
