What could be improved

more info regarding heart pains would of been reassurring,I know doctors are busy but could take time to read patients notes and talk to patient with a bit of respect and not as if they are delaying them from doing something else. Also they could make sure right blood test are requested and not lose sample of blood taken, I had to wait nearly 5hrs for blood results due to this,

Finally when a doctor says they will refer you to cardio this is what they should do and not just say it to make it out that they are going to the doctor in question

Anything else?

just keep updating patient as 5-6hr wait can get tediuos

We are pleased that the nursing professionals were pleasant and helpful. The Trust is working on tightening up the blood taking procedure in light of these comments and we hope any future experience is more positive. Improving communications remains an ongoing challenge for the organisation, and we belive the introduction of a future simple measures will enhance the experience for a number of our patients who have relayed similar stories.
